Christopher A. Nisbet, O.D.
Dr. Nisbet received his undergraduate degree from Gordon College and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University College of Optometry. Prior to pursuing a career in eye care, Dr. Nisbet spent several years in the information technology workforce as both a software programmer and database administrator. He has received extensive clinical training at government-affiliated hospitals including Madigan Army Medical Center, VA Medical Center (Portland, OR), Indian Health Services Hospital (Browning, MT), and the Washington State School for the Blind.
His clinical interests include utilizing modern technology in the detection of ocular disease, improving existing low vision aids, an increasing access to quality vision care in his community.
Dr. Nisbet lives in Proctor with his wife Sarah, a native of Maine. They enjoy hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing.
